Job Description
As a fixed assets maintenance planner at AIM Recycling, you will coordinate the inspection, repair, and replacement of equipment at our 28 recycling sites. To accomplish this, you will work closely with AIM site managers, procurement and inventory teams, and local contractors to plan, monitor and closeout service requests.

Review incoming service requests to define the scope of work.

Work with site managers and contractors to conduct field walks to identify and document job requirements, equipment, and parts requirements, and responsible parties.

Identify site specific safety hazards and implement controls to minimize the risk to personnel and equipment.

Establish and maintain a schedule for the work: forecast hours on work order tasks, total work hour duration, and skills required to perform the task.

Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to minimize disruption to recycling operations.

Rent or procure equipment and specialized tools required to perform work.

Review and share the necessary engineering and OEM technical manuals, specifications, and drawings with required parties.

Coordinates with the management team and operations personnel to prioritize work with and emphasis operations and reliability.

Continuous improvement: work with management and the fixed asset team to improve our processes, reduce costs, and build a robust maintenance program.

Initiate, track, and closeout Purchase Requisitions, to ensure prompt payment after the scope of work is complete.

Recommends to management, new innovations, systems to improve mill productivity by reducing equipment failure.
Qualifications
Education, Experience, Skills:

5 Years Experience Millwrighting OR Maintenance Planning

Industrial Mechanic College Diploma and/or Certificate of Qualification

Experience with CMMS (Maximo), MS Excel, and technical drawings
