The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
We are looking for workers with:
- Experience constructing temporary steel stud walls/hoarding.
- Demolition experience
- Experience in hazardous materials abatement.
- A B.C. driver's license (Class 5) is an asset

Responsibilities:
- Arrive to pre-arranged work place (job site, storage, etc) at time designated by Project Coordinator
- Be appropriately attired and “ready to work”. This includes being properly attired, clean shaven, and equipped
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner as designated by company standards
- Perform work as laid out in site specific safe work procedure documents
- Perform work as altered by Project Coordinator or Operations manager
- Ensure open communications with Site Lead and Project Coordinator
- Please note the responsibilities may change based on business needs and requirements of the Lead Hand and/or Supervisor

Respirators and fit test will be provided by Canadian HAZ-MAT Environmental. All applicable training for site duties will be provided and recorded.
Additional Information:
- Ideally Level 2 asbestos certification, otherwise training/certification will be provided for Asbestos abatement, mould, and lead. Additional training such as fall arrest, confined space, and transport of dangerous goods will be provided as needed.
- Typical hours of operation are Monday - Friday, however weekend and/or out-of-town work may be required.
- Workers must be clean shaven to wear respirators.
- Physical work in various temperatures is required.
Wage negotiable based on experience.

Benefits will be provided after three months (probation period) of employment. There will be opportunities for wage increase and additional job training. There will be 3 month, 6 month and annual reviews.
