Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities that include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and managing guest interactions efficiently. Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not required; training will be provided. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently maintained in accordance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support when necessary
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including table setup and sanitation procedures
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Basic math skills for handling payments, bills, and upselling opportunities
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, cashiering, and food preparation is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
