Position Summary
The Production Coordinator is a key shared resource across all production sites, responsible for coordinating day-to-day production support activities to help ensure efficient, consistent, and timely operations. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, this role works closely with site leaders, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to support production scheduling, track priorities, monitor workflow, and facilitate communication across locations. The Production Coordinator helps drive operational consistency, improves visibility to production needs and constraints, and supports the smooth execution of production plans across the business.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate and support production activities across multiple sites to help ensure alignment with production plans, priorities, and customer commitments.
· Work closely with the Production Manager and site production leaders to monitor schedules, output, capacity constraints, and changing priorities.
· Track production progress, identify delays or issues, and escalate concerns in a timely manner to support resolution.
· Support the preparation, maintenance, and communication of production schedules, work orders, and related production documentation.
· Facilitate coordination between production, supply chain, procurement, maintenance, quality, and other internal teams to support uninterrupted operations.
· Monitor material availability, production readiness, and workflow dependencies, helping to identify risks that could impact delivery or productivity.
· Compile, maintain, and distribute production data, reports, and metrics to support decision-making and operational visibility.
· Maintain accurate records in ERP, scheduling, or other operational systems to support production planning and reporting.
· Help standardize coordination practices, reporting, and communication processes across sites to improve consistency and efficiency.
· Participate in daily, weekly, or ad hoc production meetings and follow up on action items as needed.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying administrative, coordination, and process improvement opportunities across production operations.
· Assist with special projects, audits, reporting requests, and other production-related administrative support as assigned.
Qualifications
· Post-secondary education in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, business, or a related field is preferred.
· 2–4 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, scheduling, coordination, or operations support role.
· Experience working in a multi-site or fast-paced production environment.
· Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and locations.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience working with ERP or production planning systems.
· Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving capability.
· Ability to analyze production information, identify gaps, and support practical solutions.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with broader operational teams.

Working Conditions
This role supports multiple production sites and may require regular communication and coordination across locations. The position may involve a combination of office, plant-floor, and site-based interaction depending on business needs. Flexibility to respond to shifting production priorities is required.
Pay: $58,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
