Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand vision and storytelling goals. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, utilizing industry-standard editing software. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to deliver engaging visual stories that captivate audiences.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos using Adobe Premiere, or other editing software.
- Incorporate visual effects, transitions, and audio enhancements to improve overall video quality.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects.
- Apply color correction and grading techniques using Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop to achieve desired visual aesthetics.
- Design graphics and animations with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Illustrator to enhance video content.
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and project specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new editing techniques to continuously improve output quality.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom.
- Experience with Final Cut Pro or similar professional editing tools.
- Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling.
- Knowledge of audio editing and sound design is a plus.
