About the Opportunity
Catalyst Wellness is hiring a General Manager to oversee group home operations, beginning with one home and expanding to additional homes as they open.
This role is for a practical, steady operations leader who can run 24/7 living environments where staffing, safety, food, cleanliness, supplies, documentation, budgets, facilities, and people leadership all need to work every day.
Candidates from camp management, catering operations, hotel and lodge management, hospitality services, accommodations, and multi-site operations are strongly encouraged to apply. If you have led teams in environments where people live, eat, sleep, work, and depend on consistent daily services, your experience may transfer well to this role.
About Catalyst Wellness
Our homes are a culturally grounded group home supporting children and youth through safety, relationship, structure, belonging, identity, healing, and family-centered care. Catalyst Wellness is building homes that are welcoming and home-like while meeting strong standards for staffing, licensing, safety, documentation, and quality assurance.
The General Manager is not expected to personally provide clinical services. The focus of this role is leading the operations that make safe, consistent care possible. The successful candidate will respect the human-services environment, support culturally grounded practice, and work closely with program leaders, care staff, external partners, and senior leadership.
Why Camp, Catering, Hotel, and Hospitality Experience Fits
Group home operations require disciplined leadership similar to strong camp, catering, hotel, lodge, accommodation, and hospitality environments. The General Manager must be able to manage people, schedules, budgets, facilities, food, cleaning, supplies, vendors, maintenance, safety, inspections, and resident experience at the same time.
- You understand shift-based staffing, call-ins, coverage gaps, overtime pressure, and team accountability.
- You know how to keep a living environment clean, safe, welcoming, supplied, and ready every day.
- You have managed food service, housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, vendors, purchasing, inventory, and facility standards.
- You are familiar with audits, inspections, safety checks, documentation, incident response, emergency planning, and compliance routines.
- You can manage budgets, invoices, cost controls, supplies, schedules, payroll inputs, and operational reporting.
- You know how to open, stabilize, or improve a site and create repeatable systems that can be used across more than one location.
About the Role
The General Manager will oversee the daily operating systems for the current home and future Catalyst Wellness homes. This includes staffing, scheduling, supervision structures, household operations, food and supplies, facility readiness, vendor coordination, documentation systems, safety processes, budget tracking, compliance readiness, and future-home opening plans.
This is a hands-on leadership role. The General Manager is expected to understand what is happening in each home, support staff and supervisors, identify problems early, create practical systems, follow up on commitments, and help each home operate with consistency and care.
What You Will Lead

- Build strong operating routines for staffing, schedules, household standards, supplies, food, maintenance, safety checks, documentation, communication, and escalation.
- Lead and support Program Director(s), Care Team Lead(s), Care Team Members, relief/casual staff, site operations staff, and contractors as assigned.
- Ensure each home is clean, safe, welcoming, properly supplied, and ready for day-to-day living.

- Oversee purchasing, inventory, vendors, maintenance requests, site repairs, household equipment, vehicles, and operational budgets within approved authority.
- Maintain licensing, inspection, documentation, incident reporting, risk management, emergency readiness, and compliance systems.
- Support program leaders with intake readiness, placement planning, transitions, partner communication, and practical problem solving.
- Lead future-home opening plans, including staffing plans, supply lists, kitchen and household setup, site-readiness checklists, safety systems, vendor setup, training readiness, and go-live preparation.
- Create repeatable systems that allow Catalyst Wellness to operate multiple homes with consistent expectations and quality standards.
