Summary
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of
commercial, industrial buildings by performing the following duties.

- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of
commercial, industrial buildings by performing the following duties.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees
- Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
- Plan and prepare employee work schedules.
- Investigate complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action.
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required.
- Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
- Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
- Instruct staff in work policies and procedures and the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
- Select the most suitable cleaning materials for different types of linens, furniture, flooring, and surfaces.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Clean criminal background
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
- Develops alternative solutions
- Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs
