Job Summary
We’re looking for a friendly, motivated, reliable, and organized Apprentice Technician to join our powersports service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical work, wants to grow their technical skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced shop environment. You’ll support daily operations, assist experienced technicians, maintain a clean and efficient workspace, and help ensure jobs run smoothly. Strong problem‑solving skills are essential as you learn to diagnose issues, prepare units, and handle unexpected shop challenges.
Responsibilities
- Keep shop clean and tidy
- Uncrate new units and follow pre delivery inspection checklist
- Fuel machines
- Install accessories and parts in a timely matter
- Help with loading/unloading units, parts and customer units
- Service all types of powersports vehicles i.e oil changes, belt change, tire swap, software updates via computer systems
- Use forklift for multiple tasks
- 40+ Hours weekly
- Work Saturdays
- Supply basic hand tools
Experience
- Valid drivers license
- Ableness to safely operate forklift, truck and trailer and machinery through typical workday
- Practical mechanical experience working with vehicles, equipment and trailers
- Pleasure craft license and motorcycle license an asset
- Ideal skillsets for problem solving, reliable, organization, time management and diagnosing electrical.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
