Job Summary
Oak Acres Children’s Camp is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Camp Cook for the upcoming camp season. Located in Murray River, Prince Edward Island.
Position: Seasonal - June to August
Pay: Based on experience
The successful candidate will:
- Have experience preparing meals for 65+ people, three meals per day
- Prepare nutritious meals and create menus that follow Canada’s Food Guide
- Adjust menus to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies
- Follow all food handling, health, and safety procedures
- Hold current Food Safety and WHMIS certification
- Work well with others and maintain a positive attitude
- Be available for various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Bring an outgoing personality and enjoy working in a camp environment
- Count inventory and place weekly food orders
