Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Recovery Account Manager to join our financial services team. This role is essential in managing overdue accounts, optimizing recovery processes, and maintaining positive client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. As a Recovery Account Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy of account reconciliation, analyzing account data, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee accounts receivable processes to ensure timely collection of overdue payments
- Conduct thorough account analysis to identify delinquent accounts and develop effective recovery strategies
- Perform account reconciliation to verify accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies
- Utilize accounting software to update account information, track collection efforts, and generate reports
- Engage with clients via phone and written communication using professional phone etiquette to negotiate payment arrangements
- Maintain detailed data entry records related to collections activities and account status updates
- Collaborate with accounts payable and other finance teams to resolve outstanding issues
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for process improvements
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and efficiently
Requirements
- Experience in accounting, accounts receivable, or related financial roles
- Knowledge of accounting software and data entry procedures
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations tactfully
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Analytical skills for account analysis, reconciliation, and problem-solving
- Ability to interpret financial data accurately and perform detailed analysis

- Prior experience in financial services or related industries is preferred

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
