Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service, support daily store operations, and help maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and welcoming environment. This role is a great opportunity to build retail and sales experience in a fast‑paced setting.
The Store Clerk is responsible for accurately recording sales and handling cash and credit card transactions, including tobacco sales and applicable tax exemptions. Additional responsibilities include stocking shelves and coolers, maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store, and supporting the Store Supervisor to ensure the highest standard of service for our customers.
Basic Responsibilities:
- Handle charge requirements for band members on fuel/tobacco for status and non-status members
- Accurate shift balance for cash.
- Ability to follow directions from the Store Supervisor.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Provides customers with fast friendly service.
- Uses slow times effectively by finding extra things to do, sweeping, dusting, washing windows, cleaning outside tables, improving job skills, etc
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
This is a full‑time, year‑round position, scheduled for shifts. Screening will be based on applications received, and references will be requested from shortlisted candidates.
