Press Feeder
Gilmore Printing Services is the offset division within the R.E. Gilmore group of companies. We are currently looking to hire an offset Press Feeder to join our growing production team. You must be reliable, energetic and a team player. The Press Feeder assists the Press Operator with the preparation and operation of a Heidelberg 40” offset press. This includes loading and unloading paper as well as setting up the press for production. Maintaining a clean work environment and ensuring that correct maintenance procedures are followed is critical in order to ensure optimal performance of the press.
Required Qualifications:
Experience as a Press Feeder on a 40” offset press is considered an asset.
- A good understanding of the printing process with an eagerness to learn
- You must pay excellent attention to details and be able to communicate well
- Must be able to bend, lift and stand for extended periods of time
- Able to lift paper and material up to 40 lbs.
- Focused on being part of a team that’s objective is to achieve quality and production goals
- A mechanical aptitude is considered an asset
- Must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and in a team environment
