Petalo is Calgary's newest Italian restaurant, featuring fresh, light, vibrant, modern cuisine with Mediterranean and European influence. We offer "tapas" style service, with an emphasis on shared dining. Menu will feature small plates, as well as fresh pastas, big plates, and pizzas.
Currently looking for reliable experienced server to work dinner services Tuesday-Saturday.
Must have previous serving experience. Looking for bright personalities, strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails. Previous experience in fine dining or casual fine dining required.
Located on Edmonton Trail for easy commute from the downtown core.
All the usual preferred qualifications...experience, positivity, willingness to roll with an exciting launch of a new restaurant. We are family owned, no corporate culture here. Simply wanting to create an amazing restaurant and atmosphere with incredible people and food. Specifically looking for someone who we can rely on who wants to make a new restaurant home. Also must have team player mentality - willingness to jump in to wash dishes when necessary, complete side work, and pitch in where needed.
Qualifications
- Previous serving experience in fine dining or casual fine dining required.
- Must be comfortable with wine service and have basic wine knowledge.
- Must thrive in fast-paced environment and able to handle large section.
- Must be able to multitask - greet guests and log in Open Table, beverage service, clear plates, manage guest experience in tapas style dining.
- Valid ProServe
- Fluent in English
Pay: $15.00 per hour
