Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in Fitness or Pilates studio is a plus, but not required. Evening or weekend shifts required.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
- Perform data entry with accuracy using QuickBooks and other office software
- Handle filing, record keeping, and document management with attention to detail
- Assist with administrative tasks such as proofreading, organizing files, and maintaining office supplies
- Support bookkeeping activities including basic invoicing and billing procedures
- Provide excellent customer support by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment
Experience
- Prior clerical or administrative experience preferred, especially in office or medical/dental settings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is advantageous
- Strong computer skills including data entry, typing, and familiarity with multi-line phone systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and communication abilities
- Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is a plus but not mandatory
- Previous experience in front desk or receptionist roles is highly desirable
- Bilingual (English and Chinese) is required
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 10.0 per week
