SUMMARY: Bannerz Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time team-oriented Graphic Designer. This position is responsible for the creation of effective, high impact designs that provide our clients with the right communications solutions to promote their businesses.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and create all types of signage and printed materials.
- Reviewing project specification details and clearly interpreting client needs.
- Creating conceptual drawings and renderings of all types of signage and branding for proposals and provide client design solutions.
- Knowing the materials that work well together and with the ability to properly dimension/spec design concepts.
- Maintaining an understanding of our sign fabrication process, materials.
- Having the vision to combine media and design elements for value added design solutions.
- Tracking your time and challenging yourself to add as much value for time billed to client.
- Staying on task and working towards meeting deadline requirements for successful project completion and truly being proud of the work you do.
- Preparing files for production.
- Maintain clean artwork files/folders, and accurate customer database.
QUALIFICATIONS.
The following experience is relevant to us:
- 2+ years professional experience.
- College degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or Industrial Design.
- Graphic Design Skills with Adobe Suite.
- An understanding of dimension and depth. CAD, Drafting, and Retail Design an asset.
- Experience with working with tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
- A willingness to learn new design requirements and programs.
- The ability to visualize and understand the practicality of design and how signage materials work together.
- An understanding of the psychology of Marketing and “getting product attention”
The following experience is considered a plus:
- Experience working with CAD Software, Flexi Sign, or Corel.
- Experience with or interest in 3D rendering.
- Experience in storefront design, or the signage/construction industry.
