Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and basic knowledge of construction-related tasks. Prior experience with hand tools, carpentry, or blueprint reading is a plus but not mandatory. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills across multiple areas of construction and restoration work.
Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials
- Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and caulking guns to support construction activities
- Support carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and flooring installation
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to aid in project execution
- Perform restoration work, including painting, drywall repair, and surface preparation
- Assist with plumbing and welding tasks as needed under supervision
- Support tile laying and flooring installation projects
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and basic construction equipment
- Knowledge of general construction practices and safety procedures
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Experience or familiarity with carpentry, caulking, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration and construction painting
- Reliable transportation or valid driver’s license is preferred for site access

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
