Who we are:
MowGOSnowGO Ltd. is a growing landscape, construction, and snow removal company. We are currently looking for experienced, hard-working, and motivated Fence Installers with a focus on chain link fencing to join our team in the Guelph and Kitchener/Waterloo area.
Salary: $22.00–$28.00 per hour — depending on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal (Permanent potential)
Expected Hours: No less than 20 per week
Responsibilities:
- Install and repair chain link fences on residential and commercial properties
- Measure and layout fence lines accurately
- Dig post holes and set posts securely in concrete
- Stretch, attach, and secure chain link fencing
- Operate and maintain fencing tools and equipment
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards
- Occasionally assist with general landscaping or construction tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience installing chain link fences
- Ability to read plans or instructions related to fence layout
- Experience with power tools and construction equipment
- Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to quote jobs
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of experience in fence installation or construction labor
- Experience with other types of fencing (wood, vinyl, etc.) is a plus
- Experience leading small crews is an asset
- Certification in a construction-related field (optional)
