Overview
Sylvan Lake Company is looking for a part time experienced book keeper familiar with using Sage software. Work will entail Invoicing, paying expenses, payroll including Government payments and other accounting functions such as year end. Estimated number of hours a week range from 6 to 10 of which most can be done remotely from home using our server but may entail the odd time in our offices as needed. Normal work hours are open with only a few specific items that need to done in a prescribed time such as payroll and issuance of Invoices.
Duties
- Manage and maintain financial records using accounting software Sage.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure data accuracy
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting tasks
- Maintain organized records of financial documents and transactions
- Advise Management on cash flow requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or finance roles
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Ability to perform account analysis and manage account reconciliation tasks effectively
- Familiarity with payroll processing and budgeting.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $18.66-$40.00 per hour
