Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time/Part-Time Registered Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our practice. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, and pediatric treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) accurately using CAD technology when applicable
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records efficiently using dental software such as ClearDent
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, updating patient information, and managing insurance documentation
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
- Support with taking impressions, fabricating appliances, or assisting with adjustments as needed
Experience
- Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure required
- Prior experience working in a dental setting
- Proficiency with dental management software such as ClearDent is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Experience with for digital impressions or appliance fabrication is a plus
- Background in dental assisting combined with experience as a dental receptionist is advantageous
