Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Ground Worker/Labourer to support tree care and removal services. This role involves assisting with various tasks such as dragging brush and operating a wood chipper, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of work sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and safety guidelines, and a willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
Duties
- Assist with dragging brush and wood chipping
- Support lead arborist with tree trimming, removal, planting and site clean up
- Operate equipment such as wood chipper and chainsaw
- Perform general labour tasks including dragging, lifting, raking and moving materials
- Maintain safety standards across all job sites by following proper procedures
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times
Experience
- Prior experience in landscape maintenance and or ground labour is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with relevant equipment operation is a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods in varying weather conditions
- A valid driver’s license is required

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
