We are currently hiring for a full-time Insurance Producer to market and sell commercial and/or transportation insurance policies while providing professional customer service. This rare and exciting position allows for the opportunity to build a clientele of business. The ideal candidate will demonstrate determination, drive and a competitive nature in order to be a top producer. Individuals will directly support and contribute to sales goals for the agency or department assigned via the agent. You will meet long-term and short-term goals for agency growth, including cross-sell opportunities and new business.
Requirements: • Develop leads and schedule appointments while providing excellent customer service to your clients
- Provide underwriting and rating for new accounts
- Prospect and network in order to build a book of commercial businesses
- Actively solicit expiration dates from new clients and prospects
- Develop agency relationships with existing clients
- Maintain knowledge of new products and initiatives
- Meets the production requirements and goals assigned by the agent or agency manager
- Maintain monthly sales records and provide copies for review to the agent and/or agency manager
- Performs other duties as assigned
