General Description
- The Project Manager - Infrastructure Level 2 is responsible for the successful completion of medium to high risk and highly complex infrastructure or other construction projects by leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams through project activities so that projects are successfully completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.
The Project Manager (PM), Electric Vehicle (EV) Site Development role will lead the site/customer identification, commercial agreement/negotiation, and site layout/preliminary design stages of EV public charging network deployment projects.

Hybrid work(2 - 3 days per week) - Dunsmuir office
Travel within BC to site - up to 10 visits per year. Mostly in the lower mainland but not limited to it.
Responsibilities
- Effectively consider project objectives and the site selection framework and associated trade-offs during EV fast charger site selection.
- Have experience and sound knowledge of electrical infrastructure design, along with project management principles and strong business acumen.
- Have a proven track record of interpersonal and negotiation skills, and be able to work independently or through relationship leads (e.g. Key Account Management, Community Relations) to secure sites for hosting charging stations by liaising and negotiating with property owners to secure land leases/licenses.
- Coordinate with internal legal and property departments on the development of land tenure agreements.
- Run project update meetings to ensure a timely execution of the project identification phase.
- Conduct site host consultation and engagement to solicit support for the project. This could include attending Council or other external meetings and presenting and/or being available for questions as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree Engineering, an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation, preferred
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
- Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
