Job Overview

Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety regulations
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Ensure all food is stored correctly and inventory levels are maintained
- Assist with plating and garnishing dishes before serving
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper kitchen hygiene practices
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and serving in a fast-paced setting is advantageous
- Kitchen experience within the food industry will be considered a strong asset
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
