About the Role
We are a family-operated welding shop with over 50 years specializing in food-grade piping and sanitary equipment. We're actively hiring experienced Stainless Steel TIG Welders. If you take pride in clean, precise welds and know your way around thin-wall tube and argon purging, we want to hear from you — fast.
What You'll Be Doing
- Sanitary TIG welding on stainless steel pipe, tube, and fittings to food-grade standards
- Thin-wall stainless tube welding with argon purge techniques
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and weld specs
- Fitting and cutting components to spec before welding
- Maintaining equipment and keeping your work area clean and safe
- Collaborating with the team to hit project timelines and quality standards
- Occasional travel to client facilities across Alberta
What You Bring
- Journeyman Welding Certificate (required)
- Minimum 2 years sanitary TIG welding experience (strongly preferred)
- Solid pipefitting skills
- Comfort reading weld symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Forklift Licence (required)
- Confined Space Certification (required)
- Elevated Work Platform / Fall Arrest Certification (required)
The Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 4:30 PM (occasional overtime)
- Location: Edmonton, AB — primarily local with occasional travel
- Start: ASAP
