This Position reports to:
Quality Manager
The Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation. The Measurement & Analytics Division’s portfolio consists of analyzers measuring compositions of gases and liquids; instrumentation measuring process variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, and level; force measurement solutions measuring parameters such as flatness, thickness, and tension; and advanced digital solutions for device management, device health check and predictive maintenance.
The Measurement & Analytics Division serves key industries such as oil and gas, chemical, water and wastewater, power, hydrogen, batteries, as well as the marine industry. The Division enables the optimization of industrial processes by providing and analyzing data collected from sensing and smart measurement devices. Parameters such as emission levels and production inputs are measured by providing ‘before’ and ‘after’ values, enabling efficient operations and environmental sustainability through measurement.
Your Role: Own the Challenge
Independently ensure compliance with processes, standards, and best practices, and conduct audits of projects, processes, and suppliers.
Oversee the selection, qualification, evaluation, monitoring, and improvement of suppliers in collaboration with the procurement team.
Generate project quality plans.
Validate and approve design, purchasing, integration, and testing documentation; control quality during integration and assembly testing.
Participate in the Material Review Board as a quality decision-maker and help close out non-conformities.
Participate in the Configuration Control Board as a quality authority and follow up on the implementation of design changes
Lead and complete initiatives to simplify and optimize processes.
What it takes to run what runs the world
Bachelor’s degree in science (or equivalent experience) .
At least 5 years of relevant expertise in the position
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
Experience in a regulatory or standards-driven environment .
Willingness to travel occasionally .
French is required. English is also required to communicate with customers outside Quebec on a regular basis.
