We are seeking for CNC Operator for our client in Mississauga.
It is CNC operator supplemented with mill shop cabinet assembly when there is down times of no programming/cutting for CNC. They could have a week straight of cutting all day every day and another week, mix of cutting and assembly or a week of just assembly it’s entirely dependent on the projects as they flow through the mill shop.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
- Modify parts and materials to improve overall production
- Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
- Set up and operation of vertical machines (CNC Milling machines and CNC Router machines)
Job Requirements:
- Adapt using precision measurement instruments: Vernier, Caliper, Micrometer
- Read Blueprints with Solid math skills – Accurate conversions of Imperial & Metric
- 1-2 years experience on vertical machines CNC router, CNC milling machines
- High School or College Diploma mandatory
- Physical Demands: standing, walking, reaching, bending, and lifting – up to 40 lbs
- English Fluency: Oral, written, reading comprehension
- Courteous, respectful, follow COVID, Health & Safety Protocols SOP’s

Days: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
