- Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, including flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and on-call assignments as required.

In this role, you will be responsible for the ongoing operation, maintenance, and performance of the facility's building, mechanical, and aquatic systems.
- Ensure the reliable operation and performance of building, mechanical, and aquatic systems to support uninterrupted facility operations.
- Maintain high standards of water quality and aquatic system performance in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Perform preventative maintenance and respond effectively to equipment and facility issues to maximize system reliability and lifespan.
- Monitor facility conditions and proactively address maintenance needs, hazards, and operational risks.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and compliance records to support operational effectiveness and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to support facility maintenance, projects, and operational excellence.
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for members, staff, and the community.
- Trade certification in a relevant discipline (e.g., Journeyman Electrician, Plumber, Class 4 Power Engineer) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2–3 years of experience in facility operations, building maintenance, or a related environment; experience in aquatic, recreation, or other public-use facilities is an asset.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, and working in mechanical spaces.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems.
- Experience with pool water chemistry, filtration, and chemical feed systems; experience with chlorine gas or other pressurized chemical systems is an asset.
- Pool Operator Level I or II Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within an established timeframe.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting the reliable operation of building systems.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- Ability to diagnose operational issues, make sound decisions, and work independently in a dynamic facility environment.
