MCG Careers has provided services to unemployed Albertans since 1989. We utilize current career development techniques to assist individuals with successful employment preparation, job placement, training on the job, workshops, and skill training programs. MCG Careers is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Red Deer team as an IM&M+ Facilitator.

What You’ll Bring:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Education, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field is preferred
- Experience in adult learning, career development, or social services
- Strong skills in facilitating group-based programming
- Hold a certification in In Motion and Momentum+ (IM&M+) (Training will be provided for the successful candidate)
- Experience in public speaking & presentations
- Strong facilitation, communication, and group engagement skills
- Knowledge of community resources and wraparound supports
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, trauma-informed practice, and curriculum delivery are considered assets
- Experience in virtual instruction is an asset
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver a structured 10-week group-based employment and personal development program designed to support individuals in building clarity, confidence, and momentum toward meaningful life and career goals
- Work with participants who may feel uncertain about their next steps but are open to change and able to engage in a group setting, supporting them in leveraging their existing strengths while fostering stability and growth
- Promote community engagement and collaboration through group activities and community projects that build confidence and connection
- Work closely with service providers and case managers to ensure coordinated, wraparound support
About In Motion and Momentum+ (IM&M+):
The program is delivered across three progressive modules: In Motion (3 weeks), which focuses on self-discovery, strengths identification, and developing a realistic vision for the future; Momentum (4 weeks), which builds career readiness through experiential learning and a community-based project; and Momentum+ (3 weeks), which supports participants in implementing their action plans and connecting with ongoing supports for transition.
