1. Do you have experience designing low-power electronic circuits and/or systems, including microprocessor-based, digital, and analog circuit designs?
2. Have you conducted trade studies for concept selection, technology evaluation, or product architecture development?
3. Can you share an example of a technical presentation, design review, or engineering review that you led or presented?
4. What types of circuit analysis, modeling, simulation, or validation activities did you perform before releasing a design for prototype build or production?
5. Have you led electrical, multidisciplinary, or product development teams?
6. Do you have experience identifying and resolving EMI/EMC issues?
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree (or equivalent experience) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
5+ years of electronics design experience within aerospace or another highly regulated sector (e.g., nuclear, rail).
Strong understanding of electronics design principles and industry best practices.
Proficient in low power digital circuit design.
Solid understanding of low frequency analogue interface design.
Experience using industry standard ECAD tools (Mentor Graphics preferred).
Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacture) and DFT (Design for Test) methodologies.
Familiarity with EMC design and qualification requirements.
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience in prited wiring board (PWB / PCB) is a definite asset
Pay: $68.00-$70.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- electronics design : 5 years (required)
- circuit analysis, modeling, simulation: 4 years (required)
- designing low-power electronic circuits: 5 years (required)
- Aerospace, nuclear, rail: 4 years (preferred)
