Heartland Disposal & Recycling Ltd. offers Roll-off bins, portable toilets, and temporary fencing services to its customers as well as potable water and septic services.
We are looking for a class 1 or class 3 driver with roll off experience to join our organization primarily in the position as a Roll-off driver, but with the willingness to help in other divisions when needed, as the company continues to grow
.
Daily Tasks:
Safely loading and transporting roll-off bins to/from customer sites, hauling waste to transfer stations, landfills, or recycling facilities.
Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Use tablet for reviewing and completing daily route sheet listing jobs and customer site locations.
Follow Company Health and Safety program.
Work Shift:
Working hours are typically 7am to 5 pm Monday to Friday (10 hour shifts), and rotating Saturdays alternating with other drivers.
Job Requirements:
Valid Class One (1) (preferred) along with a 5 year clean commercial abstract
Experience pulling a pup trailer and operating a Hook Lift and Cable Lift Roll Off Bin Truck would be considered a huge asset.
Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
Must be capable of using computer tables and software apps.
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Perform complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Employee will be required to drive and work in year-round outdoor weather conditions
