We are seeking a Facilities & Fleet Supervisor to support the safe, efficient, and effective operation of McMan's facilities and fleet across the Edmonton and North Region.
About the Role
The Facilities & Fleet Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operation of McMan's offices, residential properties, fleet, and facility assets. Working closely with program leaders, contractors, and vendors, this role ensures our buildings, vehicles, and related services are maintained efficiently, safely, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements. The position also provides day-to-day supervision for the maintenance worker.
Position Type & Hours
Permanent Full-Time Role: 40 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to respond to operational needs or facility emergencies.
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, IT & Facilities, you will:
· Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of McMan's offices, residential properties, and program locations.
· Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
· Manage the organization's fleet, including vehicle maintenance, inspections, registrations, and replacement planning.
· Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective service delivery.
· Maintain facility and fleet records, asset inventories, and related documentation.
· Monitor budgets, review vendor invoices, and identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
· Ensure facilities and fleet operations comply with applicable safety, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
· Supervise the Maintenance Worker, including coaching, performance management, and staff development.
· Build collaborative relationships with program leaders and support operational needs across the region.
What you bring:
· Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Building Operations, Business Administration, Trades, or a related field.
· Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in facilities, maintenance, property, fleet, or operations management, including at least two (2) years supervising staff, contractors, or operational teams.
· Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
· Knowledge of building operations, preventative maintenance, fleet management, and facility systems.
· Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and service providers.
· Strong organizational, project coordination, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized maintenance or asset management systems.
· Three years’ valid Class 5 driver's licence, current satisfactory drivers’ abstract, reliable vehicle, $2 Million auto insurance.
· Ability to travel throughout the Edmonton and North Region.

The salary range for this position is approximately $74,048–$88,400 annually, commensurate with education and experience. McMan offers ongoing professional development opportunities, comprehensive health benefits, an employer-paid pension plan, and generous paid time off.
