Matrix HR is urgently seeking experienced Industrial Painters for an exciting project located in Halifax NS. This is a long term, full-time opportunity.

Wage: $36 (Get paid weekly!)
Shift: Monday - Friday
**Referral Bonus Offered! **- We are pleased to offer a referral bonus of $200 for each individual referred to Matrix HR who is successfully hired for this project. To be eligible for the referral payment, the referred candidate must complete a minimum of one week of work on our payroll.
Scope of work
- Prepare and apply coatings using a variety of methods, including spray guns, grinder, air tools, and sanders.
- Perform thorough surface preparation using techniques such as solvent cleaning, hand tool cleaning, power tool cleaning, and cleaning to bare metal, to ensure proper coating adhesion.
- Work with a wide range of materials and coating products, including general metals and construction materials, while selecting appropriate coatings based on surface and environmental requirements.
- Safely carry out lead abatement procedures and follow all health and safety standards related to hazardous materials and industrial painting practices.
Qualifications:
- You must be eligible to work in Canada to apply for this job.
- A pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit check will be completed.
- Previous industrial painting experience is required
