Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Phone Sale and Repair Specialist to join our team. This role involves assisting customers with mobile device sales, troubleshooting, and repairs, ensuring a seamless experience for clients. Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing mobile devices, accessories, and related products through retail sales channels
- Diagnose issues with smartphones and tablets running Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows operating systems
- Perform repairs on mobile devices, including screen replacements, battery swaps, and hardware troubleshooting using hand tools and schematics
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems and applications; provide solutions or escalate as needed
- Use analysis skills to identify hardware failures or software conflicts affecting device performance
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used in each service case
- Educate customers on device features, software updates, and maintenance best practices
- Keep work area organized and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained for safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales of mobile devices or electronics is preferred
- Hands-on repair experience with smartphones, tablets, or other mobile devices is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Android, iOS, macOS, Windows operating systems, and related software troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read schematics and use hand tools effectively for hardware repairs
- Strong analysis skills to diagnose technical issues accurately
- Knowledge of computer hardware components related to mobile devices and operating systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
