Order Picker – Oak Bluff Branch - Seasonal to October 9th, 2026
As a valuable member of our truss plant team your duties will include:
- Cutting and packing of engineered wood product (I joists and beams) floor systems to customer specifications
- Ensures all paperwork is accurate and completed in a timely manner
- Communicates to management and staff any changes to orders or issues
- Cleans yard of dunnage, banding and garbage as required to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assists the Shipper Receiver as required
- Provides assistance to production workers as required
- Assists cycle counts and annual inventory count
The successful candidate will:
- Have a safety mindset and demonstrate high attention to detail
- Be physically able to repeatedly, stand, walk and lift/carry over 50lbs
- The ability to work in a fast paced team environment is essential
- Previous experience with safe operation of Chain Saws, banding equipment and forklifts would be an asset but training will be provided
- Steel toed safety boots are required
- Previous Truss manufacturing experience is an asset but not required
- Comply with all company policies and procedures including the Health and Safety program
- Hearing test required as condition of employment
