This position is responsible for performing general equipment, building and property maintenance. They are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment in accordance with safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. This position shall also be responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition as required. Additional duties may include, performing routine maintenance activities, and notifying management of need for repairs.

Assist in the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery

Perform regular property inspection of units, common areas, building exteriors, and yards

Keep accurate records of space conditions including roof, HVAC systems, and utilities

Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines

Ensure 24/7 availability of emergency services

Maintain heating and air-conditioning systems, boilers, pumps, fan units, control panels, thermostats, etc.

Maintain fire alarms and extinguishers

Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments

Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment

Detect and report faulty operations and defective materials

Maintain an inventory of equipment, manuals and warranties

Drive vehicles as required
