The Painter will work closely with other team members to ensure that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. *Duties* - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. - Mix paints and other materials according to specifications. - Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. - Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups. - Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed. - Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow. - Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. - Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively in the painting process. *Qualifications* - Proven experience as a Painter or in a similar role is preferred. - Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly in automotive repair or dealership environments. - Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in painting tasks. - Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed throughout the workday. - Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and quality finishes. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. - A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
