We are a well-established property management company in Winnipeg, overseeing approximately 6,000 residential rental units. We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Handyman to join our maintenance team. There’s steady work, flexible hours, and lots to do—ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working independently.
What You’ll Do:
As our Handyman, you’ll play a key role in keeping our rental properties safe, functional, and well-maintained. Your typical day could include:
- Carpentry tasks such as door repairs, trim replacement, drywall patching, minor framing, and cabinet fixes.
- Light plumbing work including fixing leaks, replacing taps or toilets, unclogging drains, and minor pipe repairs.
- Light electrical repairs such as changing fixtures, outlets, switches, and troubleshooting simple wiring issues.
- General maintenance, troubleshooting, and handyman duties across our rental portfolio.
- Driving to various properties across Winnipeg (vehicle required).
What We’re Looking For:
- Solid experience in carpentry, light plumbing, and light electrical work.
- Own hand tools and a reliable vehicle.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and solve problems on the fly.
- Comfortable working in residential rental units and communicating with tenants as needed.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
