The Opportunity
We are looking for a Field Sales Representative to grow our business. The ideal candidate will live in the greater Moncton, NB area, to enable the most convenient coverage of their store territory throughout areas of NB , PEI and Parts of NS- overnight stays are required at times to maximize efficiency. Reporting to the Eastern Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales, building relationships, and executing strategic initiatives within the box store channel.
What you will do:
- Represent King Marketing in accordance with our core focus and values
- Call on box store retail locations such as Home Depot, Rona, Walmart etc. according to the established call cycle frequency specific to the territory
- Invest in lasting relationships with customers and teammates-built on trust, respect, and open communication
- Drive sales for our represented manufacturers by directly interfacing with store staff and management to raise staff awareness and product knowledge in both casual and large group format
- Set up and maintain engaging in-store displays, secure prime merchandising placements (endcaps, stack-outs, clip-strips), and help retailers maximize sales opportunities.
- Merchandising-inventory audits, signage & pricing maintenance, bay & store execution audits, planogram integrity, product down stocking, resets & test set ups, warranty/returns claim processing
- Complete hands-on demonstrations to educate both store staff and end users
- Engage with end users in-aisle and provide sales assistance
- Keep eyes and ears open to opportunities for our manufacturers, as well as competitor activities & complete price shops
- Participate in store events and off-site trade shows
- Collaborate with our represented manufacturers – both in field and via virtual meetings, phone, and email.
- Complete online sales call reports daily through a CRM - mobile on phone

Experience:
- Previous sales or retail experience in the home improvement sector is highly preferred.
