Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Biesse CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating Biesse CNC machines to produce high-quality wood and composite products. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC operations, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient production processes and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate Biesse CNC machines, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathe, and other related equipment such as press brake machines.
- Program CNC machinery utilizing CAD software and CNC programming skills to meet production specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure accurate machining processes.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of CNC equipment, including Fanuc controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure quality control.
- Operate forklifts and manage warehouse logistics for material handling and packaging of finished products.
- Conduct welding and assembly tasks as needed to complete products according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and adhering to quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with team members on project tasks such as machining, assembly, packaging, and inventory management.
Experience
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as Biesse CNC machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment.
- Strong background in CNC programming, CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), welding techniques, press brake operations, and forklift operation.
- Experience with manufacturing processes including machining, quality control procedures, packaging, assembly, and warehouse logistics.
- Knowledge of hand tools, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and attention to detail for precision work.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly desirable. This role is essential for maintaining efficient production workflows while ensuring the highest standards of quality are met throughout the manufacturing process.
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
