Description: Focuses on the analysis of action and research approaches used to improve school performance. Explores the collection and use of data to improve decisions making; strategies for creating interventions to improve schools; and political and social facets of making good ideas become good policy and practice in schools.
This course is not Team taught or offered online.

Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs):
Education:
1. Master educator with an MA in a relevant field (i.e. educational leadership or school administration) and/or extensive relevant experience as a school leader, institutional leader or community leader.
2. PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset.
Experience:
1. Expert knowledge of:
2. Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the graduate level.
3. Experience as a school administrator, institutional leader, community leader in an educational system.
Other:
1. Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion.
2. Familiarity using myCourses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences.
3. Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset.
4. Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools.
