Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining consistency, presentation, and quality
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of all food items
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Support the team during busy service periods by ensuring timely meal preparation and delivery
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies, ingredients, and utensils to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with team members to uphold excellent food service standards and guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry settings is preferred a strong willingness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic cooking skills with a focus on meal preparation and food presentation
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service support
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
