Duties:
- Responsible for delivering products and/or supplies to customers, vendors, job sites or other corporate locations.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in good working condition
-Must be able to visually verify contents of shipment
-Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
Qualifications:
-Class 3 license with air brake endorsement
-Willing to be trained on boom operation
- 3 years of previous experience as a commercial driver (preferred)
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and the use of pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
