Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight when required, using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel purchases, delivery times, and trip reports.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery updates.
- Follow all company policies and provincial/federal transportation regulations.
- Ensure freight is delivered on time and in excellent condition.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid AZ Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience operating commercial trucks.
- Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations.
- Experience with freight handling and logistics operations.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a professional attitude.
Pay: $4,000.00-$10,214.51 per month
