About the Role The Shipper / Receiver is a key member of our warehouse operations team. This person is responsible for the accurate and timely movement of goods in and out of our facility, maintaining inventory integrity, and supporting the overall efficiency of our distribution operation. The ideal candidate is organized, physically capable, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and document discrepancies
- Process outbound shipments including labeling, packing, sealing, and preparation of shipping documents
- Schedule and coordinate outbound freight with carriers
- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers safely using a forklift
- Enter all receiving and shipping transactions accurately into the ERP/inventory system
- Pick and prepare customer orders to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular inventory counts and weight checks
- Transfer products to designated warehouse and quality control locations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High attention to detail with strong organizational habits
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
- Comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn in a hands-on environment
Forklift No forklift certification required - we provide full in-house forklift training and cover the cost of licensing for the right candidate.
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
