Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator specializing in counterbalance forklifts to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for efficient material handling, order fulfillment, and maintaining smooth warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced environment and possess strong mechanical knowledge and safety awareness. This position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic distribution center, supporting inventory management and order processing.

Pay: $19/ hour
Shift: 7 am to 4 pm
Duties
- Safely operate counterbalance forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse
- Utilize clamp trucks and order pickers as needed to handle specific types of loads
- Perform order picking tasks accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and ensuring proper storage procedures
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Support warehouse distribution activities by efficiently fulfilling orders and preparing shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklift trucks, particularly counterbalance models
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control and order processing
- Ability to perform order picking accurately in a busy warehouse setting
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying quantities during operations
- Experience with clamp trucks and order pickers is preferred but not mandatory
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or operating equipment
- Strong attention to safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
