Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Insulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in insulation installation, working with various materials to ensure energy efficiency and comfort in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand tools.
Duties
- Install insulation materials in walls, ceilings, floors, and other areas as specified in project plans.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure airtight installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to cut and fit insulation materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine insulation requirements for each project.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction or a related field is preferred.
- Strong skills in caulking and the use of hand tools are essential.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately is required for this position.
- Knowledge of insulation materials and installation techniques is a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to quality workmanship.
