Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to my father in need of care. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life and comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to perform various tasks that promote independence and dignity for those you serve.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks
- Support clients with dementia care or hospice care as needed
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel
Requirements
- Previous experience in assisted living not necessary but preferred,
- Familiarity with patient care practices and caregiving techniques
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Knowledge of meal preparation and medication administration is beneficial
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is an advantage but not mandatory
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
