Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will provide expert legal advice, draft and review legal documents, and represent clients in various legal matters. This role requires a strong understanding of legal principles, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to negotiate effectively. The Lawyer will assist with the primary practice areas:
- Real Estate;
- Corporate; and
- Wills & Estates

Duties
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide legal analysis with the preparation of legal memos
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and memoranda with precision and clarity
- Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and potential risks associated with various transactions or disputes
- Prepare real estate purchase, sale, and refinance transaction
- Conduct will and power of attorney consultations and signings
- Incorporate new corporations and conduct other routine corporate filings
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents that impact client interests
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to develop effective legal strategies
- Maintain accurate records of case developments and ensure compliance with all procedural requirements
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and valid license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in our main practices areas (1-3 years, at minimum)
- Proficiency with real estate conveyancing software
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret laws and apply them effectively to specific cases or situations
- Effective negotiation skills to advocate for clients’ interests while maintaining professionalism
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines

Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
