We are currently looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our production team.
Job Responsibilities:
· Operate industrial sewing machines (single needle, double needle, overlock, bar tack, etc.) to assemble uniform garments.
· Sew various garment components including jackets, pants, shirts, and protective apparel.
· Read work orders and follow production specifications.
· Maintain consistent stitch quality and workmanship.
· Inspect your own work to ensure it meets company quality standards.
· Meet daily production targets while maintaining accuracy.
· Report quality issues, machine problems, or material defects to the supervisor.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
· Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals.
Qualifications:
· Experience operating industrial sewing machines is required.
· Experience sewing uniforms, workwear, outerwear, or similar garments is an asset.
· Ability to perform accurate, high-quality sewing.
· Ability to read production instructions and follow garment specifications.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Good hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm)
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
Experience:
- operating industrial sewing machines : 2 years (required)
- Clothing Manufacturing: 2 years (required)
