Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French language and culture, with the ability to inspire students of diverse ages and skill levels. Duties
- Design and deliver comprehensive French language lessons tailored to various proficiency levels
- Develop instructional materials that align with curriculum standards and student needs
- Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and oral examinations
- Provide constructive feedback to support student improvement and confidence
- Incorporate multimedia resources and interactive activities to enhance learning experiences
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and progress reports
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with special education needs
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, motivation, and cultural awareness
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop school-wide language programs and extracurricular activities
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best teaching practices and language instruction techniques
Experience
- Proven classroom experience teaching French or related language courses preferred
- Strong communication skills essential for effective instruction and student engagement
- Experience with proofreading, writing skills, and curriculum development is advantageous
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques and strategies for supporting diverse learners, including those in special education programs
- Organizational skills necessary for managing lesson plans, assessments, and student records effectively
- Prior experience working with students of different age groups is desirable
- Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English is preferred
Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
